Elzaan Marnane

Elzaan has been practising as a clinical psychologist for 17 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clients. She is registered to practice in Australia, Ireland and South Africa, making her a versatile and globally recognised professional. Her diverse roles have included working as a senior psychologist, principal psychologist and department manager, private practitioner, and lecturer.

Elzaan enjoys working with young adults and adults, offering a trauma-informed approach that draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, CBT, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. She also uses neuroscience and Polyvagal Theory to enhance clients’ understanding of how our physiology and neurology impact our psychological experiences.

Elzaan supports people dealing with depression, anxiety, personality issues, grief, trauma, developmental trauma, identity problems, relationship difficulties, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). With extensive experience in working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients, Elzaan provides tailored support to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Additionally, Elzaan is interested in women’s psychology and has conducted empowerment workshops for a number of international companies.
